A gastronomic dream on the South coast in La Caleta

The restaurant was established in historic buildings which were built in 1568. When it was founded in La Caleta, on the coast of Adeje, the restaurant used to be an economic trading company for the export of sugar, tomatoes and bananas, being exported daily from the harbour of La Caleta and Adeje to the rest of the world. In the following centuries, there were different owners all the time. In 1978 Eusebio Cabrera and his family purchased the land and buildings.

After several years of restoration and rebuilding, the Cabrera family re-opened the ‘Masía del Mar’ restaurant on October 13th 1981 in one of the most beautiful areas in the South of Tenerife. The restaurant offers specialties with local fish and seafood, which are freshly caught with our own boats and prepared by our experienced chefs. Fruit, salad and vegetables come from our own biological cultivation facilities. The meat comes from our own livestock. The restaurant is ideal for couples, families, small and large groups. With an impressive interior and an outdoor terrace directly overlooking the sea, the restaurant has space for 240 guests.  A large garden terrace offers more seating. The wines are just as delicious as the food. These are especially selected by the owner, Eusebio. All wines have European medals and awards. A perfect place not only for lunch or dinner, but also to enjoy a coffee or a cocktail with friends in the afternoon. On various days, you will be entertained by piano music or Canarian folklore.

Enjoy a romantic time at the Masía del Mar Restaurant in La Caleta.
